It usually costs around 100 euros for a taxi ride from Sofia - which equates to several days car hire from one of the airport car hire firms such as Avis, Moto-Pfohe Rent-a-Car, Budget or Hertz.
Whichever location you choose car hire is not only cost effective it's also convenient in terms of being able to get around quickly and easily and seeing more of the surrounding areas.
